Before beginning this project, I knew that I would need help working through and completing a project of this size and difficulty. I originally contacted several hospitals and physical therapy locations in my local area to help me with ideas for the project. I wasn't expecting for someone to work with me through the entire process, but I was so grateful to have this extra help. Robin Faut and Tara Flackus from the Olathe Medical Center Biomedical Engineering department were a huge help during the entire project process. They worked with me on new ideas, gave me feedback, and were always very encouraging. I could not have completed this project without their help through the whole process.

Being able to have a teacher that was supportive and always willing to help with everything was a huge help as well. Mr. Smith was always willing to help me with ideas, working with people for resources and connections, and helped me publicize my project. After having him as teacher for four years, he has allowed me to make several amazing projects in his different classes. He has always given me projects that I didn't think I could do but pushed me to do them. He has always pushed me to do my best and to try things that I didn't think that I could do.

I also have greatly appreciated the help and feedback that I have been able to receive from Jason Houseworth, James Hendrickson, and Mark Wiley. They have helped me refine and edit my portfolio in the final steps of the project process. Being able to get opinions from professionals was extremely helpful and educational. They helped me make the final presentation of my project the best it could be and make everything polished.
