At the end of my junior year I helped my woodshop and engineering teachers present for a grant from the Women's Giving Circle Organization. To thank the organization for their donation and show them the kinds of projects we could make with our new equipment, I designed and made them a podium with their logo engraved on the back. I made the project between my wood shop and CAD classes during my senior year. After making the podium we delivered it to the group for them to have at their meetings and future events.
