After four complete redesigns and dozens of small changes and tweaks, I came up with a final product to give to the Olathe Medical Center Biomedical Engineering department. The final design consisted of two tubes that fit together to allow the top tube to be removed but still have the bottom function. The bottom piece fits into the base of the machine to make the tube sit straight on the base of the arm of the machine. The top tube had an inset lip to have the aperture set on and be adjusted by set screws when aligning the machine.
